While global evidence on AI in education is expanding quickly, stakeholders across Southeast Asia have highlighted the need for tools that translate this knowledge into practical, locally relevant insights. EdTech Hub's Topic Briefs on Southeast Asia respond directly to this need. This Topic Brief focuses on how AI is being used to identify, reach, and support marginalised learners across the region. Drawing on a regional desk review and key informant interviews, it maps current AI in education initiatives and explores the design and implementation choices shaping more inclusive approaches. The brief surfaces key challenges and lessons learnt from practice, and highlights the structural barriers that shape who can access and benefit from AI-enabled teaching and learning. It concludes with practical insights and recommendations to support more equitable, human-centred uses of AI in education in Southeast Asia. An output of the EdTech Hub, https://edtechhub.org/
