This brief for educational technology developers and investors aims to support evidence-based decision-making about testing digital personalised learning (DPL) software. It summarises findings from independent research on a DPL tool developed by EIDU and installed on Android smartphones. Integrated into early grade classroom practice in Kenya, the application personalises the sequence of numeracy and literacy content units based on each user’s digital learning history to optimise engagement.
