AB - Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, education planners have focused on high-tech remote learning approaches to ensure educational continuity and mitigate learning loss. This technical note aims to inform the use and development of virtual learning environments (VLE) in educational responses to the current health crisis. The terms “virtual learning environment” and “learning management system” (LMS) are used interchangeably. We will use the term “virtual learning environment” throughout this technical note.<br> <br> The technical note and supporting documents can also be found on Google Docs and Google Sheets.
